About Us

At DWPA we offer a variety of classes for all ages and abilities in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Street and Jazz. Ballet and Tap follow set syllabi (Royal Academy of Dance and The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) with exams being taken regularly. We do regular performances within the community and large exciting annual shows showcasing everyone’s efforts.

We teach Diddy street and Baby Ballet right through to adults!

All of our teachers are highly qualified in their field, with both teaching and performing experience. Not only do we think it is important for pupils to learn core skills, we also think it is equally as important that they gain experience and confidence in performing in front of others. We therefore perform regularly in the local community and we have fantastic opportunities within the West End and beyond.

At DWPA we pride ourselves on building close relationships with our pupils. Our classes are designed to offer a fun approach to learning a variety of dance techniques and giving every pupil the individual attention they need.

Students get to learn a variety of styles alongside singing and acting with a fab performance at the end!

We offer lunchtime and after-school dance clubs for all ages. These classes are designed to encourage children to keep fit whilst having fun and learning a new skill. They also have the opportunity to be in Dance Wright's shows and they get to show off their moves in their assemblies and school fetes. If you are interested in us doing a class at your school please do not hesitate to get in contact.

“I started at Dance Wright when I was 3 years old taking weekly classes in Jazz. I enjoyed it so much that one genre quickly moved to four and Dance Wright became my second home. I have made friends for life and have a bond with my teachers that has stayed strong to this day. Lorna and the DW team have always encouraged me to take my love for dance further and have supported me through my journey into professional training. I have gone on to further my training at London Studio Centre, The Urdang Academy and I am currently doing a Musical Theatre and Dance degree at Performers College. None of this would have been possible if it wasn't for Dance Wright, who gave me my love of dance and the training I needed to pursue my dream."
